Shepherd's Bush 2009 Scissor Fob.....

That's right, pick your jaws up, a stitching finish that isn't exchange related. :) I've carried this with me for the past couple of weeks stitching a minute here and there and finally finished it late last night. I'm sure some of the eagle eyes out there will notice it doesn't look exactly like the cover photo. I decided to stitch this one over 1 making it measure just around 1 1/4". With it so tiny, the pale blue was washed out so I substituted a darker shade.

I'll be back tomorrow with some news and awards. In the meantime, I'll be chained to my computer for the rest of the day until I have all emails finally answered.

Thanks for stopping by!

I am literally stunned--it turned out just perfect--which I knew it would. Love what you did with the ribbon.
Deb, your fob is gorgeous! I love the idea of stitching over one and your finishing is fabulous, as always! I looked at your organization cabinet in an earlier post -- can I ask where you got those cabinets? My sewing room is in serious need of help and I am looking for suggestions. Thanks. Deb

It's just lovely! Beautiful stitching as always.

(I just did a little re-decorating and I've posted a photo of the pin-keep you stitched for me displayed in a little vase, I love it, thank you again)

Great fob Deb.

I waited and waited but didn't get a mail :o(
That is very lovely. I especially love your ribbon detail. I see that you are very busy & I hate to bug you with my survey question, but if you find a free minute... I am new to the world of stitching and have been browsing various blogs to try and gain some knowledge and get some tips / ideas. I originally started with a stamped, then counted “kits”. I’m working on my 2nd chart and have noticed some big differences in floss types and quality.
My Cross Stitch Mentor has told me that I’m ready to graduate from Aida, but I really like Aida. Maybe it’s just beginner’s comfort???
If you would answer my question… What type of fabric or fabrics do you prefer and why? Brands and counts?
I would appreciate any advice, thanks!

I tried enlarging it but it came out just as tiny...haha! I absolutely adore the trim too. It really brings the piece to life.
Bet you can't believe it's actually YOURS!! :>)
Warm hugs, Angela
