Almost as good.....

as stitching stash is fabric stash. Oh who am I kidding, stash is stash, right? And I do dearly love getting a big fat envelope stuffed with fabrics -

Because I had to make room for the new fabric I took some time to revamp the pictures in my Backing Fabric Sale Album - I removed the Sold Out pieces and new have been added.

Isn't the little birdie pincushion cute? Couldn't pass that one by.

I am spam.....

I recently discovered that Yahoo considers an email from myself to be spam. I've also discovered that a lot of the replies I send are ending up in other's spam box. If you've sent me an e-mail, please check your spam box, more than likely my reply will be there. :(

My good friend is celebrating a birthday today. Unfortunately she isn't feeling all that well. Big hugs Debs, I hope you feel better soon!

The talented and lovely Carol honored me with another award, thanks Carol, I really appreciate it!

Here are the rules for the Award:

1 Put the logo on your blog;
2 Add a link to the person who awarded you;
3 Nominate at least 7 other blogs;
4 Add links to those blogs on yours;
5 Leave a message for your nominees on their blogs.

I had such a hard time picking blogs for the last award that I've decided not to pick this time. Instead, this award is for all my readers, I appreciate you stopping by to read my sporadic posts. Feel free to grab it and pass it on.

More stash arrived today, all fabric. I had a lovely time oohing and aahing but it's dreary so pictures will have to wait for another day.

Til' next time.....

Stash.....

It's been so long since I've been stash shopping I'd almost forgotten how much fun it is to open the package and drool. I'd also forgotten just how quickly my fingers start itching and how hard it is to resist the urge to start one of them right that minute. Sorry about the pictures, still trying to get used to a new camera.

The butterflies have been playing out in the garden, I caught this one while trying to hunt down an elusive and unusual black and white striped beauty who appears to be camera shy.

Thanks everybody for the comments on the Little House Exchange piece, I really appreciate you stopping by!

I've updated my Stash Sale Blog with some new goodies - floss drops, rings and flower pins.

Til' next time.....

And the winners are.....

Actually, I didn't do a draw. I noticed that Tammie is looking for sign-ups for her PIF. I decided to sign up for hers also which means I need to send 6 PIF gifts, what's 1 or 2 more? :)

So in no particular order, sometime in the next 365 days I will be sending a handmade gift to:

Joann In Tx
Melissa
Heather
Lisa
Angela
Debs
Cari
Laurie In Iowa

Thanks to you all for signing up! I'll be in contact later this evening via e-mail. If you haven't heard from me by tomorrow (please check your Spam folder), please contact me.

The three selected will receive a handmade PIF gift from me within 365 days and the only condition is that they in turn do the same thing on their blogs.

Postdated to move to the top - Joann in Tx and Laurie in Iowa, could you please contact me via e-mail?

HOE Little House Needleworks Exchange.....

My partner for the Little House Needleworks exchange on the HOE blog finally received her package (I don't need to tell you I was late sending again do I?).

This one went all the way to Margaret in New Zealand, I have to confess I was very worried that it would take forever to reach her despite traveling via priority mail.

Little House Needleworks - Garden Pleasures
Sweet Bag and Floss Tag

I really had a lot of fun putting this package together. I had made the decision early on to try and make as many of the goodies as possible. The floss drops were no problem, I'd already experimented with those. I hadn't finished a floss tag yet but figured it couldn't be too much different than the tag I made for Valeri's Halloween bag last year. The flower pins were a little more challenging but I was pleased with the final result.

Til next time - please don't forget there's still time to sign up for my PIF! :)

Spoiled again.....

first this lovely package arrived from a dear friend across the ocean. I've been blessed to receive several stitched items from her, each more beautiful than the last. I hope she realizes how much I appreciate it and just how special she is. :)

The second package came all the way from Ina in Holland, she drew my name for the HOE Little House Needleworks exchange. Ina did a wonderful job of stitching and finishing the Wool Needlebook and Fob. The goodies included are shown in the picture below, everything is just fantastic.
